Like many others have said, don't live here. I've lived here for 6 months and any time I've had to speak to management its been an extremely negative experience. They couldn't show me the apartment I was going to move into because it was being cleaned. When I first moved in there was a huge stain in the middle of the living room, the blinds were missing in the bedroom, the hot water lasted for 5 minutes and the sink didn't drain. I noted all of this in the move in checklist and none of the problems have been fixed. I talked to them about the checklist and they couldn't find the one I gave to them.
About two weeks ago a pipe burst and made a 8' by 3' foot stain. I asked them if they could compensate me (I asked for 25 bucks off) for the trouble since I had to move out for a couple days (have a baby, was worried about mold) and they flat out told me that they don't do that and thats why i have renters insurance. Doesnt make sense. My rent has increased about 10 bucks each month for whatever reason. They use electrical heating for everything so expect you pay around 180-200 dollars for electricity every month in the winter time. When I was inquiring to move in they talked about how the jacuzzi was open year round, however they have been repairing it since I moved in.
Chelise (the leasing office manager) is nice and what not but she has no say or power over anything. Everytime I've asked her about anything she just tells me that I need to ask the main manager, who isnt there or is speaking with a tenant about an issue they're having. Everytime I go in there I have to wait 5-15 minutes based off how many people are complaining.
When I was first inquiring about moving in there was someone that was yelling at the office about their lease and how awful the experience has been. I should have listened to that warning sign and the reviews, but I was desperate. When I was in the office 2 weeks ago to tell them about the burst pipe a tenant screamed at me "don't live here, don't live here it's terrible!"
I don't even think I've had the worst experience here, I've talked to my neighbors and read the reviews and there have been much worse stories from them. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, and its still been terrible. Management only cares about you paying rent, the lack of sympathy for the problems you experience is depressing. If you want anything to get done, you should expect to talk to the office 2-3 times. They know people will continue to live here and will prey off the desperate, but if you care about your quality of life and want to get treated like a human, please don't live here.
