****Very Long Review, but it needed to be said****
This is one of the worst experiences with an apartment complex, their employees, and management that I have ever had. I have lived here for only two months. My first example: The front office was closed early on the 1st, was closed on the 2nd, and closed on the 3rd for the Holiday. I work very early in the morning until late at night. Mainly 10 to 12 hour shifts, 6 days a weeks. I went to the front office to drop off my rent check on the 3rd but they have no lock box drop. I took an extended lunch on the 4th to drop off my check. I was then advised that they had tacked on a $150 late fee. I asked for it to be waived due to the fact that they were closed two days and had no lock box drop. They told me to come back and speak with with the assistant manager Sabrina. I came back the next day to speak to her. As I walked into her office, I very kindly asked if she had the time to speak to me. She sighed deeply and with annoyance in her voice said "yes". I told her I could come back when she was not so busy. I was already nervous due to speaking to different residence on the property. They told me how horrible the management was. A lot, (I meant a lot) of the residence told me that you if are not part of a certain religion that is very present in the state, they will not help you. She got more of an attitude and said "no, it is fine.". I was so nervous, I covered my tattoos and made sure to take out my lip piercings before I walked in. I explained my situation, and without once looking me in the eye told me there is nothing she can do for me. Then proceeded to ask when I was going to be able to make the payment. Not telling me more fees will be added daily. I do not make a lot of money. I live paycheck to paycheck (hence the studio) and this payment has killed me. She said I would have up to the 20th to make the payment. I came home that night to a letter left on my door wide open for everyone to see, saying that I owed $179.16 now. I had to call the next day in a frantic state and speak to Sabrina again, who finally after some talking down took the extra $30 off of the amount due. I then had to go and make that payment right away. So, I wrote corporate to see if there is anything that they could do about the late fee as they were closed with no drop box. I got a response from the office manager Wendy basically telling me there is nothing they could do. Not even anyone in Corporate. That was literally my grocery money. I am living off of ramen until I get paid again. Example 2: The same day that I made the rent payment (4th), I called and placed a work order for my bathtub. It was starting to get clogged and was draining very slowly. I waited two days, nobody showed up. I then called the office and spoke with Emrah. I advised him that I placed a work order for my bathtub. He stated someone would be out there later that day (6th). Not one person showed up. By that time, the water would not drain at all and had been sitting for days. Still no one showed up. I called Monday, with no response. I then got upset and called 12 times (YES 12 TIMES) today (11th) before they answered. I spoke with Emrah, who is usually a pretty chill person. I was upset and told him I was upset. I told him about my work order. He made a smart remark then placed me on hold for over 3 mins while he "spoke" with his supervisor about getting someone out there today. I made sure that they emailed me the work order this time. My bathtub literally has a HUGE ring of dirt because of how long that nasty water was sitting there. Again, this is the worst experience that I have ever had with an apartment complex. I hate that I signed a year lease with this place. Make sure to always use Google for reviews. I only used my apartment app. It was a total lie! 10 months to go, and I feel like there will be only retaliation because of this review. I honestly don't care. No one should have to deal with this. PERIOD!
