If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. Worst rental experience Iâve ever had. Prepare for tons of hidden fees, floor plans not at all accurate to the size or design of apartment, and amenities broken or unavailable 90% of the time. We were welcomed by dirty floors and carpets, black mold in bedroom and bathroom, and no working A/C. Our A/C broke again just a few months later. The hot tub was open for about 1 month during our 6 months there - constantly closed for maintenance. Donât expect to get any of your deposit back. We cleaned this place to no end and bought brand new drip pans to replace the old. We were charged a $90 cleaning fee (but what a shocker they donât actually clean the units) and $20 for drip pans (which were brand new). They tack on additional bogus charges to ensure they get all of your deposit - $269 for remaining utilities (understandable but no breakdown of this total is provided), $60 for touch up paint (ridiculous and definitely not done before us), $70 for shampoo carpets (understandable but not disclosed to us upon move in or in the lease and we moved in to stained, dirty carpets anyways, soâ¦). Embarc sucks.
